"Vâlcea Naturală" is a unique project in Romania, both in terms of the complexity and the magnitude of the documentation, as well as because of Daniel's complete dedication, who for three years, has been exclusively involved in the project realization.
The main objective of the project is to raise awareness of the region's rich biodiversity, documenting much more than the three well-known locations - Oltului Valley, Cozia Massif and Buila-Vânturarita - while highlighting the importance of nature conservation. Through photography, the project aims to bring people closer to nature, encourage active involvement in environmental protection and promote responsible tourism to support the local economy. We strongly believe that the development of this area depends on the strength of the community and that only together can we make progress.
In this spirit, we collaborate with and support initiatives such as the aspiring UNESCO Geopark Oltenia de sub Munte and the Făgăraș National Park project initiated by Conservation Carpathia.
